In Lapland, we have this magic fifth season that brings us the return of light after months of darkness. 

It is the most magical of seasons. The snow still lies deep, the lakes and rivers are frozen, but the days get longer and longer. Most days the skies are blue. Life returns.

If you pick one season to visit, this is it, but wait yet a few weeks, because this is just the beginning, it will be even better come March.

Jokkmokk winter market has been held for an impressive 413 years, and it is located in the small town of Jokkmokk, northern Sweden. We have sold our beautiful fashion accessories here for many years, and our Saami bracelets have proved to be very popular, so we look forward coming back. It is always cold (between -5 to -30 degrees C) lots of snow so it is a must to wear warm winter clothes. You will see reindeers and lots of beautiful handicrafts from Swedish Lapland.
